Keeper’s Heart Whiskey is proud to announce the launch of its Triple Pot Distilled Straight Rye, the second release in the brand’s groundbreaking trilogy of American triple pot distilled whiskeys. Following the debut of American Pot Still Whiskey, this latest expression continues Keeper’s Heart’s mission to challenge convention by combining Irish whiskey-making tradition with America’s classic whiskey styles.
Crafted by Master Distiller Brian Nation, Keeper’s Heart Straight Rye Whiskey brings an Irish approach to one of America’s most distinctive whiskey categories. Made with 100% Midwestern rye, including 10% malted rye, this straight rye expression is triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in virgin American oak barrels to create a rye whiskey unlike anything else in the category today.
“Straight rye whiskey has always been about bold character, spice, and individuality,” says Brian Nation, Keeper’s Heart Master Distiller. “With this release, we wanted to explore what happens when you take that unmistakable American spirit and apply the depth, texture, and complexity that comes from Irish triple pot distillation. For generations, rye has been a defining part of American whiskey culture. Keeper’s Heart Triple Pot Distilled Straight Rye honors that heritage while challenging the idea of what rye whiskey can be by going back to American whiskey’s roots, distilling our rye in copper pot stills, and pairing that with the Irish tradition of triple distillation to create a unique tasting rye whiskey.
