Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS), a fan favorite neogciant since 2013, has introduced its Black Label Series 22 Year Old Sweet Peat Whiskey, a blend of Canadian and Scotch whiskies and finished in toasted Jamaican Rum and Islay Casks in Kentucky at 142.34 proof (71.17% ABV).
Barrell Sweet Peat whiskey reveals a different side of peat, where oak, sweetness, and gentle smoke come together in remarkable balance. Rare 22-year Scottish Speyside single malt and Canadian whiskies were finished in carefully selected toasted Jamaican rum and Islay whiskey casks. The different casks weave together notes of caramel, tropical fruit, toasted oak, and delicate peat smoke. The result is a whiskey where sweetness and smoke elevate one another.
