Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw debuted TB12, a 12-year-old hazmat bourbon from Bradshaw Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, at Permission Whiskey & Service Co. in Houston earlier this week. The limited release is available exclusively at the venue, where Bradshaw hosted the first public pour alongside co-founder and son-in-law Noah Hester.
The event drew bourbon enthusiasts, industry leaders and guests from across Houston.
Permission gave attendees rare access to the limited release in an intimate setting. Guests met Bradshaw, took photos and tasted the bourbon firsthand.
Bradshaw and Hester spent the evening behind the bar, sharing stories and engaging with those in attendance.
The launch marked a milestone for both Bradshaw Bourbon and Permission Whiskey & Service Co. TB12 has become one of the most sought-after bourbons in the whiskey community, generating interest among collectors for its age, rarity and limited availability.
The term “hazmat” refers to bourbon bottled above 140 proof (70% ABV), a strength so high it cannot legally be carried onto a commercial aircraft. The designation has become a marker of prestige among collectors seeking high-proof, cask-strength expressions.
For Bradshaw Bourbon, the partnership paired a coveted release with a venue known for whiskey and hospitality.
Permission, owned by Peter Nolan, offers white-glove customer service, a selection of rare spirits and a curated cocktail list. The event further solidified its reputation as one of the premier whiskey bars in the country.
Bradshaw and Hester were joined by members of the Bradshaw Bourbon team. These included chief revenue officer David Gaynoe and director of sales Maria Barrios, who supported the brand’s growth throughout Texas.
Notable guests included former Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels and Houston influencer Danielle Dubois. Members of Houston’s hospitality, business and bourbon communities also attended.
Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, entered the spirits sector with the launch of his eponymous bourbon brand.
