Jackson Purchase Distillery has released two new expressions, adding a bottled-in-bond offering and a Kentucky-exclusive bourbon to its portfolio. The Hickman, Kentucky-based company launched the pair following the debut of its flagship Select Batch Bourbon in September 2025.
The distillery released Select Batch Bourbon last year with a first bottling labeled “Batch No. 1.” The 117.8-proof Bourbon drew reviews at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and collected two Double Platinum awards at the 2026 ASCOT Awards.
The bourbon was originally available only at Kentucky retailers. Its reception led Jackson Purchase to launch online sales to other states in early 2026.
To retain a product exclusive to its home state, Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame master distiller Craig Beam and head distiller Terry Ballard created Jackson Purchase Kentucky Select Bourbon.
“Our friends here in Kentucky cheered us on from the very start, so we wanted to make something special just for them,” said Beam. “Terry and I carefully selected some barrels that really show off what’s unique about our Bourbon, and then we bottled it at just the right proof to highlight those flavors.”
The bottle features a blue color theme and the Seal of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The bourbon is bottled at 108 proof.
According to the official notes from the brand, Beam described flavors of cinnamon, butterscotch, a hint of maple syrup, and “just the right amount of spice.”
The company produces all of its bourbon at its Hickman distillery, sourcing nothing from elsewhere. That distinction underpins its second release: Jackson Purchase Bottled in Bond Bourbon.
The bottled-in-bond designation dates to the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act. It requires whiskey to be produced at a single distillery in a single distilling season, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof.
“Bottled-in-bond is the ultimate test of a distiller’s art as it demands the most consistency to produce a quality product, season after season,” said Ballard.
Kentucky Select Bourbon carries a suggested retail price of $64.95 (£48), while the Bottled in Bond expression will sell for $49.95].
Founded in 2021, Jackson Purchase Distillery represents an investment of more than $50 million in Fulton County.
