Copperworks Distilling Co. has released Farmsmith American Single Malt Whiskey, a 100-proof expression priced at $69.99 plus tax and shipping. The Seattle-based distillery is selling the new whiskey through its online store and at both of its tasting room locations in Washington state.
Farmsmith is bottled at 50% ABV and is available for purchase directly from Copperworks.
The distillery operates two tasting rooms: its flagship location at 1250 Alaskan Way in Seattle and a second outpost at 7324 NE 175th St in Kenmore, Washington.
Official tasting notes from the brand describe a nose that “opens with fresh butter leading into a harmonious blend of maple bar and cedar chest.” On the palate, the brand notes “coffee and cocoa nib mingling with cherry, orange creamsicle, and pineapple, on a foundation of graham cracker and vanilla.” The finish is said to bring “a luxurious blend of leather, cinnamon stick, and black pepper, sweetened with a trace of toffee.”
To mark the launch, Copperworks is running a limited-time Old Fashioned promotion at both tasting rooms through winter. The cocktail is crafted with Farmsmith American Single Malt Whiskey and served alongside a half-ounce taste of the new release.
Guests who order the promotional Old Fashioned and purchase a bottle of Farmsmith will have the cost of the cocktail applied as a discount toward the bottle price.
Copperworks Distilling Co. was founded in 2013 by Jason Parker and Micah Nutt. The distillery is known for producing its spirits from malted barley, drawing on Parker’s background in craft brewing. Its portfolio spans American single malt whiskeys, gin, and vodka, all produced at its waterfront distillery on Seattle’s Elliott Bay.
The American single malt whiskey category has gained significant momentum in recent years. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) established formal standards of identity for American single malt whiskey in 2025, providing regulatory recognition for a category long championed by producers like Copperworks.
Farmsmith American Single Malt Whiskey is available now via the Copperworks online store and at both Washington tasting room locations.
