Freddie Noe, eighth-generation master distiller at Fred B. Noe Distillery, has released Little Book Chapter 9 “None for Granted,” a new American whiskey celebrating traditional flavor profiles. The 121.8-proof blend combines five whiskeys ranging from 7 to 11 years old.

    Honoring Classic American Whiskey Heritage

The new release pays tribute to what Noe calls the “founding flavors” of modern American whiskey. The blend features a Kentucky straight bourbon aged 11 years, an 8-year Kentucky straight rye, and three additional Kentucky straight bourbons aged 7 and 8 years.

“I and countless others wouldn’t be making the whiskey we’re making without the flavors captured in Chapter 9 – the profile pioneered at the start of modern American Whiskey,” Noe stated in the announcement.

Official tasting notes describe the whiskey as golden bronze in color with aromas of caramel and brown sweets with hints of char. The taste profile includes butterscotch, caramel, baking spice and stone fruit.

    Premium Whiskey Market Positioning

At $159.99, Chapter 9 enters the competitive premium American whiskey segment. The release represents Noe’s ongoing exploration of whiskey history through his Chapter series.

The Fred B. Noe Distillery, part of the Beam family legacy, continues the tradition started by Jim Beam in 1795. Freddie Noe, son of the late Fred Noe, became master distiller in 2021.

The 60.9% ABV whiskey targets collectors and enthusiasts seeking traditional American whiskey profiles with contemporary craftsmanship. Chapter 9 “None for Granted” is now available in select markets.
