    Town Branch Whiskey 2025

Town Branch Distillery of Lexington, Kentucky tells BourbonBlog.com they have doubled down this year for 2025, releasing two allocated annual whiskeys instead of just one. They are releasing Town Branch Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey and Town Branch 7-Year Kentucky Single Malt Whiskey.

At a suggested retail price under $50 for each 750 mL botle, these two expressions give whiskey enthusiasts the chance to explore distinctive categories without the premium price tag often tied to special releases.

They say that in a market where comparable whiskeys command much higher costs, Town Branch says they are intentionally passing value directly to the consumer, making discovery more accessible while maintaining its dedication to craftsmanship.

The Rye Returns, the Malt Rises

Town Branch Distillery explains they have been a quiet giant, earning recognition from Forbes as one of the Best Rye Whiskeys before being placed on allocation in 2022 to preserve blending stocks.

This year’s 100-proof release blends barrels from 4 to 9 years old, with flavors of cocoa, honey, oak, dried fruit, and spice.

Only about 475 cases will be released in August 2025.

The Town Branch 7-Year Kentucky Single Malt Whiskey confirms the distillery’s leadership in the American Single Malt category. Distilled since 2008 on copper pot stills and aged in upcycled bourbon and ale casks, it balances orchard fruit, honey, and oak with a soft finish.

Just 487 cases are being allocated for 2025.

“Allocated, Not Overpriced” Says Town Branch

“Don’t just make something, make something great,” Managing Director Robert Krass tells BourbonBlog.com. “The team is under strict instruction not to stop until they love it—for example, our straight rye whiskey alone took over 15 micro-blends before we got it right, but we got it.”

Instead of chasing the high price tags often tied to allocated whiskey, Town Branch has set both bottles at $49.99.

That decision makes these limited releases unusual—allocated, small-batch whiskeys that remain within reach of everyday drinkers.
