A historic bottle of Blanton’s bourbon will serve as the grand prize in an upcoming charity raffle organized by central Kentucky nonprofit Give 270. The Blanton’s: Frankfort Bicentennial 200 bottle, released in 1986, stands as one of the most unique collector’s items in American whiskey.

The bottle will headline Give 270’s latest 20/20 Unicorn raffle scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, with tickets available for $20 each. Proceeds will support the organization’s community initiatives throughout central Kentucky.

    Blanton’s: Frankfort Bicentennial 200

Making the Blanton’s Frankfort Bicentennial Bottle distinct from its counterparts is its packaging. Bottled at 86 proof to match its release year, this limited edition features none of the traditional Blanton’s branding on either the bottle or packaging.

Instead, the label identifies it as a product of “The Bicentennial Distilling Company, Frankfort, Kentucky.” The commemorative bourbon also notably replaces the iconic horse and jockey stopper with a unique design featuring the Kentucky State Capitol on one side and the State of Kentucky on the other.

“We are thrilled to offer this rare and unique Blanton’s Frankfort Bicentennial 200 bottle as the grand prize in our latest 20/20 Unicorn raffle,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “This bottle is a true unicorn, and we’re excited to offer the chance to win it while supporting important local initiatives in central Kentucky.”

Extensive Prize Pool Beyond the Grand Prize

Each $20 ticket provides two chances to win from a curated selection of 20 Blanton’s products. Additional prizes include a complete eight-bottle multi-color set spelling “BLANTON’S,” a  seven-bottle multi-color set, a Blanton’s Takara Gold Derby Edition from 1999, and several other allocated and limited release items.

The raffle format draws winners for prizes numbered two through 20 first, with all tickets then returning to the tumbler for the grand prize drawing. The event will stream live on Give 270’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Ticket sales remain open until 7 p.m. on April 2, with no limit on purchases per individual.

The Bicentennial bottle holds particular significance for collectors as it represents the first time a Blanton’s bottle appeared without its trademark paper label, instead featuring the official “Frankfort 200 Bicentennial” logo printed directly on the glass.
