Despite the trade war launched by the Trump Administration this year, Loch Lomond has followed through on its renewed focus on US markets with the reintroduction of Loch Lomond 18 Year Old. In partnership with Foley Family Wines & Spirits, Loch Lomond 18-Year-Old has an SRP of $159.99 for a 750ml bottle.

Loch Lomond’s Master Blender is Michael Henry. Under Henry’s careful supervision, Loch Lomond has established itself as one of the most adept and capable distilleries in Scotland – showcasing the combined impacts of extra-long fermentation periods, carefully selected yeast strains, innovative distillation methods, and closely monitored maturation. By pinpointing these four critical elements of the production process, Loch Lomond’s signature style of orchard fruit, honey sweetness, and soft smoke was created.

Crafted in the shadow of Ben Lomond Mountain using traditional swan neck stills alongside pioneering straight neck pot stills – each fitted with 32 copper plates – Loch Lomond precisely controls the spirit distillation, enabling the creation of vibrant orchard and tropical fruit flavors. Further distinguishing itself, Loch Lomond is one of only four distilleries in Scotland with an on-site cooperage, employing 10 qualified coopers, who work on approximately 22 casks per day.

Whisky connoisseurs will notice a presence of soft smoke in Loch Lomond 18, reflecting the modest amount of peated whisky produced annually by the distillery, which averages around five percent.
