Aged Legacy and Historical Significance
Jack Daniel’s 14 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey is more than just an extension of the brand’s Aged Series—it represents a return to a tradition that dates back over a century. Long before Prohibition, Jack Daniel’s regularly offered age-stated whiskeys, but in the modern era, such releases have been a rarity. With this latest addition, the distillery continues to honor its past while showcasing the depth that extended maturation can bring to its Tennessee whiskey.
“When we released our first Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey a few years ago, we set out to honor the legacy of Jack Daniel himself and replicate the lineup of age-stated whiskeys available during his time,” said Chris Fletcher, Master Distiller at the Jack Daniel Distillery, at the time of release. “This year’s releases build upon that as we re-introduce our new 14 Year Old Tennessee Whiskey, the oldest age-statement for Jack Daniel’s in the last 100 years or more. These whiskeys really showcase how a little extra time in our barrels is capable of producing something so special.”
Jack Daniel’s 14 Year Old Batch 1
First unveiled in February 2025, the Jack Daniel’s 14 Year Old joins this year’s Aged Series alongside the 12 Year Old Batch 3 and 10 Year Old Batch 4. It follows the same meticulous process as other Jack Daniel’s whiskeys, from its traditional mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye to the Lincoln County Process, which mellows the whiskey through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging. Bottled at 126.3 proof (63.15% ABV), this release offers one of the boldest and most mature expressions in the distillery’s history.
