What Makes the 2025 Release Special
The 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch is built from four hand-selected bourbons, aged between 13 and 19 years. This year’s selection leans into fruit-forward V-strain recipes, balanced with the spice of a K-strain and the depth of long-aged oak.
Age and Recipe Breakdown
- 13-year OBSV – delicate fruit and sweet barrel tones
- 13-year OBSK – spice-driven complexity
- 13-year OESV – mellow fruit and caramel sweetness
- 19-year OESV – deep oak maturity and aged depth
Elliott tells BourbonBlog.com,
“I was drawn to the 13-year-old V batches that showcase pronounced delicate fruit and sweet barrel tones. Although these barrels can really shine on their own, the OBSK brought in a complexity that I think people will really enjoy. The addition of the 19-year-old OESV also adds another layer of depth and aged character that rounds out the blend beautifully.”
Tasting Notes From Four Roses
- Nose: sweet apricot, vanilla, caramel, black tea leaves, hints of rye, mellow oak
- Palate: apricot, hints of citrus, crème brûlée, antique spiced oak
- Finish: very soft and long, with layered fruit and seasoned oak
