Crown Royal has expanded its award-winning portfolio with the introduction of Crown Royal Marquis Blended Canadian Whisky, a new expression finished in Caribbean rum casks. The release aims to capture the essence of nightlife culture with a complex flavor profile designed for social gatherings.
The new offering will hit shelves in May 2025 across Georgia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and select military bases with a suggested retail price of $39.99.

The new release reportedly offers a rich flavor profile featuring notes of honey, brown sugar, and vanilla, complemented by hints of date and fig that lead to a smooth finish. This versatile whisky is specifically crafted for social occasions that transform from casual gatherings into memorable experiences.

The brand is supporting the launch with promotional events in Washington D.C. and Atlanta, inviting consumers to experience the whisky in high-energy settings that mirror its intended consumption occasions.

The brand recommends enjoying the whisky neat, on the rocks, or in signature cocktails including the Marquis Daiquiri and the Crown Royal Marquis Moment.
The Marquis Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Crown Royal Marquis Blended Canadian Whisky
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- 5 oz Lime Juice
- 5 oz Simple Syrup
Directions: Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass and top with dehydrated lime wheel garnish
The Crown Royal Marquis Moment
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Crown Royal Marquis Blended Canadian Whisky
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- Top of Club Soda
- Splash of Lime
Directions: Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with dehydrated pineapple

The bottle maintains Crown Royal’s iconic shape while introducing a deep purple hue paired with the brand’s signature purple lettering.
As part of its limited regional release strategy, the new release will initially be available only in select markets, signaling what may be a test launch before potential wider distribution.
