Deutsch Family Spirits has made a strong showing of Summer 2026 with two major Redemption Whiskey releases. The first release combines the standards of the Bottled and Bond Act of 1897 with the simple, but strict requirement of the single barrel whiskey: Redemption Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon. Aged to six years, which is two years beyond the statutory requirement, the new bonded single barrel is also the first bottled in bond release from Redemption. It is also the inaugural release in the relaunch of the brand’s Higher Marques Collection.
Redemption Whiskey is a sourced brand, and the source in this instance is MGP in Indiana. Which one of MGP’s six stock bourbon distillates was used is not disclosed.
“Single barrel whiskey is about embracing what can’t be replicated,” said Alan Kennedy, Master Blender at Redemption. “No two barrels mature exactly alike, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding. My role is to identify the barrels that tell an exceptional story, and I believe we found something special with this release.”
Redemption Single Barrel Bonded Bourbon will reach shelves in September, and is priced at $50 a bottle.
Alongside this bourbon launch, Rememption also brings back its Ancient Series with the release of a new batch of Redemption 18 Year Old Bourbon. This ultra-aged Redemption whiskey will be available later in the autumn, for $400 a bottle.
